General Electric and Ecomagination?

-
--A dancing elephant does his best "Gene Kelly" dance impersonation in GE's newest TV advertisement, "Singin in the rain," a clever spin on the film of the same name. The ad takes place in a rain forest full of exotic animals and features the classic song, which sends the elephant into a tap dance a la Gene Kelly. (from GE website)

ok..ok .. I know what your thinking GE and the Environment? They fought against the EPA's Plan to clean up Hudson River in 2001. They are a major corporation which makes everything from Jet engines to Television programming. But folks, It appears that there is some real effort over in corporate. It looks like GE is trying to hop on the band wagon to be a sustainable and eco friendly company. Here at Ecolosophy we say keep up the good work!

FYI - The name of the company in the title is incorrect. Should be 'General Electric' not 'General Motors'.
